Re: Econolite Motion Lamp #774 "Jets"

I have this same exact lamp and it brings back SUCH great memories of my dad who was the origianl purchaser.  Since he passed, the lamp has been a part of my home.  Over the years, and in a recent move, the shade was severely damaged and cracked and I"ve been looking for a replacement shade.  AS you can imagine, that's no easy task.  I was wondering what the price is for this item and if it is still for sale.

Thank you,

Donna

Donna, I have this light, too.  My shade is in good shape, but the inner wheel's plastic is melted, so it no longer turns.  My child had thrown a sock on top of the lamp.  Yikes!  One of us should have a working lamp.  Would you like to make me an offer on mine?  What would you like for your inner wheel?

Re: Econolite Motion Lamp #774 "Jets"

I worked for Boeing in Seattle for over 23 years - and knew the pilot that flew that original 707.  His name was Tex Johnson.  He actually did a barrel roll over the hydro races in Lake Washington which solidified the first firm orders for that model a/c.  Also, was able to spend time in and around the 707 in the hanger prior to the Smithsonian receiving it.

PLEASE let me know if it's still for sale - this would go from me to the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field (King County International Airport) in Seattle!

Thank you, TBird
