Piece looks to be some sort of wall size gossip bench or telephone booth. It is L-shaped with the side shelf open to just above seating area. At top of shelf is a small storage cabinet with one beautiful beveled leaded glass door. below that is two narrow upen-back shelves with a small round netal rod attached at top maybe for curtain/covering to hide what is on shelves. The bench seat is upholstered in near perfect fabric that looks to be original with only some age fading to it. I was told upholstery and stuffing were original. Full length storage drawer underneath bench is dovetailed as is other parts of piece. Shelf going up wall behind bench is open back frame with shelf at top. Shelf has backing as if for display. Along length of back of shelf are the inlaid decorative boxes.
The only thing I can tell you about this item is that it is all hand painted detailing. I see no glassmakers marks on the bottom. I inherited this item and no nothing about it except when it was bought many years ago by my grandmother it cost her about $27. The glass is a yellow and white mixture. It has alot of gold paint if you cannot tell in the pictures.
We don't know anything about this dish it was one of the many collectables my grandmother had and we recently inherited. I'd like to know about it. I really think it's lovely. It doesn't have any chips but he paint is worn in spots.
This is a four piece tea service. I don't know anything about it because we recently inherited it. It was sitting on a tray that is not the same maker and i'm also curious about that. On the platter is says W M A Rogers is approximately 12 inches in diameter. All pieces are in good condition however they need some cleaning as they are tarnished. I'm attaching pictures. Any information is helpful.
