Webster Mfg Co chairs, the tag on the bottom states south superior Wisconsin No. 19750, beautiful made with great detailing, looks like with brass screws for hardware. Any ideas on value?
Pressback chairs like this date from the turn of the 19th Century and were mass produced in huge numbers. Demand for them last peaked in the 1990's, but demand and values for them has declined a great deal since then. "In the Rough" chairs like this one often sell for under $25.00 at auction.
