Shell Cameo Brooch

Description

This is a gold-filled brooch I bought from an online auction.  It is supposed to be made in Italy between 1860-1890.  Just checking on value for my own information.  Information on the value would be greatly appreciated.

It has some strange type of brownish glue on the back, which seems to be helping to seal the cameo.
