This rug was purchased by a friend who was living and working in Afghanistan. It was purchased for about $2000.00 in 2006. It has been in storage and is in Mint condition. There is a signature on the bottom near the fringe, but I don't know anyone who can read it. It is a really beautiful rug and I would love to help him out by finding the retail price for it.
