This is a beautiful item... very nice. The price of sterling is near $35 an ounce and native american items always carry a big premium. Your necklace has nice value on that alone. Do yourself a favor... go to E-bay and search for prices... you will find it's value there. Your necklace is easily worth $500 and could be much more... it's a huge piece and valuable... do your homework and yoyu will get paid!
