This was my grandfather's desk. I would love to use it myself, but I just don't have a place for it. He bought it new in 1956 and used it in his law practice in Sarasota until he retired.

Re: Jackson desk 1950s

This desk https://www.ebay.com/itm/283809687525 is similar to yours, a bit smaller. It may. Be worth following to see if it gets the asking price. Here’s an Instappraisal appraisal on a Jasper desk (not the same as yours) https://instappraisal.com/appraisal/jackson-desk-jasper-indiana I believe this appraisal was from 2017. There was also a Jasper desk appraisal on Just Answers that had the same resale estimate of $350 - $500. I don’t know but would assume the value is still about the same.

Re: Jackson desk 1950s

Mid century desks like this kind of fit a a bit of a niche in terms of value, but outside the Collector's for this type and style of desk values tend to be modest at under $500.00. At auction they can sell for under $200.00.
