Early 1900's Zenith George "Babe" Ruth signed Wooden Bat

Description

The story that has been passed down a few generations which may of may not be true is: My great-great uncle who was a typesetter for the Portland newspaper was given this bat by Babe Ruth himself after an exhibition game in Portland Oregon around 1920.

The bat is signed twice, the first being etched in and the second being wood-burned (no idea whether they are signatures or autographs).  The "Babe" is in quotation marks.  It's a Marshall Wells Hardware Company Zenith bat that is 35" long and weighs 32oz.

The bat is in very good condition with only minor cracks in the wood and some wear damage to the round part of the bottom of the handle.
