Burl Walnut Art Deco Armoire / Chifferobe / Closet w/ Matching Art Deco Dressing Table / Vanity & Bench - TriBond III

Description

This is one of the most unusual sets I have seen, and is in my opinion... timeless design. From the lines to the hardware chosen; it should appeal to far more people than traditional waterfall examples.

The Burled Walnut is only a highlight of this piece where similar armoire's from the deco period and beyond seemed like "whack a box together and put a spotlight on the burl" Where as the design of piece can compete with and perhaps maybe even outshine it's pretty coating.

Not a straight line to be found on this piece, maybe the dovetails?

I haven't seen another Tri-bond Chiifferobe / Vanity in this style or with such round sides, especially the Chifferobe. Great Style, Round Sides, Intelligent Design and Yet Still Timeless.

I would have to assume it's late 30's? But I'm far from an expert.

Condition...

The Chifferobe has minimal superficiual usage marks along with two locations with veneer damage in the back corner of the left side (top and bottom), the round design hides these quite well. Otherwise I'd guess probably in A condition.

Vanity Dressing Table has seen a little more useage, it has a bit more superficial marks with a couple faint water marks, a few scrtches and one spot with deeper scratches in the size of a half dollar. That said... These don't penetrate through the veneer and are mostly un-noticed. With a new finish, it would be mint. I believe the veneer is 100% intact except a small knick or two where it meets the wall. B+ Condition.

Mirror: A++ MINT.. Something like 54" in diameter. Not a single defect defect or discoloration.noticed around the edges.

Bench: I have not cleaned and photographed the bench. I believe three sides of the bench are mint, with one side having 2-3 veneer chips. The original cover is present, it's dirty and it has a 2 or 3" tear.

These were purchased by my grandfather, moved once and stored by my aunt/uncle and now I have them.

All three pieces have the original finish, they have just been cleaned.

They are most likely going to be sold. It would be nice to keep them as a set but I realize the Chifferobe has a broader market.

Can we estimate them individuallly and as a group?

Thanks for your time and patience, I'm new at this.
