Description

I acquired these from a neighbor who had the items stored from her mother and/or grandmother's estate. All in very nice condition, no chips or cracks. 8 - dinner plates 8 - small plates 8 - large bowls 8 - small bowls 6 - tea cups 8 - saucers 1 - serving bowl 1 - serving plater 1 - salt & pepper shaker set 1 - tea pitcher 1 - creamer boat 1 - sugar bowl

Sadly the demand for 20th century porcelain is very weak at the moment, a result of the Baby Boom generation downsizing and collecting trends, comparable sets often sell at auction at under $150.00. This set postdates 1946, the company originally was called the Illinois China Company, which was sold to the Stetson China Company of Chicago in 1946 and operated until 1965.
