Edmund Osthaus Print

Category
Paintings
Condition
Fair
Description

Hello, I am not necessarily concerned with the value of this print I found today at a thrift store- what is driving me crazy is that even though there are hundreds of images for Edmund Henry Osthaus paintings, I cannot find that this one exists. It certainly looks like his work, but I find it odd that I can't find the name or any image of it anywhere.
The painting/print I picked up is clearly old, but it kind of feels like it was something that could have been mass produced. There is a stamp on the back of it, but it's wasn't even stamped properly it appears.
I truly know nothing about art- I am a volunteer for Shetland Sheepdog and Collie rescues and so I am always on the lookout for dog art or collie/sheltie pieces. This artist also does a lot of collie art, so I had to have it. Now I'm just incredibly curious as to why I can't find the name of it or anything when I search multiple search engines and image searches. I would love if anyone can identify this for me and if you can tell if this is just a complete fake, or whatever you might be able to find.
Thanks!

I have an antique coat tree. It is made out of cast iron, painted black with a copper color undercoat. It is approx 68 inches tall. My mother bought this in an antique store 50 years ago. Wanted to see if anyone knows it’s approximate value and age and history of this item. Thank you.

Age / Value of a Chair

Category
American Furniture
Description

1st I have to say I really don't know much about furniture ..

So I found this chair ..

I liked the style .. then noticed the nail heads (which seemed old) and the price was right. : )

When I got it home I pulled the staples and fabric (pillow case) off the bottom (which I know someone added) .. to my surprise I found springs. + the wood I guess may be mahogany and the saw marks - I assume are from hand saws ..

Hoping someone here can help me out.

THANKS!!
