Burlington House dining room set

Description

14 piece ornately carved Burlington House dining room set--circa late 60s, early 70s. Used very little. THis set is in perfect condition with the exception of 2 small scratch marks on the China closet base caused by movers when bought. Solid wood and made in Lexington North Carolina.

Buffet 72 inches long X 17 wide--China closet 60 inches X 14-base is 60 inches by 17 inches wide. Table is 7+ feet with two leaves by 41 inches wide. Chairs are all Cane backed and solid wood.

Would like to sell entire set to good home. Moving. Dining table comes with custom made pads for table and inserts.

Sets like this were hugely popular during the 1970s. Not so much now as there's currently a large numbers of comparable sets on the market as original owners downsize or have passed on in a market with few buyers, which means that values can be very modest at this point. Generally comparable sets often sell for under $500 at auction.
