Antique Pair of Elephant Bookends

By DebbieL, 13 December, 2020
Description

I have a pair of elephant bookends that I have had since the early 60's. They are painted and look to be maybe cast iron or bronze. There are no markings that I can fine. I'd like to see if anyone has any information on these or value.

Re: Antique Pair of Elephant Bookends

I found these https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1920-30-elephant-bronze-bookends…
The color is different but they’re the same. No price as I don’t have an account there but the description might help.
A different description on these https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/antique-c1910-pair-elephant-book…
This is a different one but similar and and I’m seeing more of them. Makes me wonder if the same company made yours https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/one-copper-finish-cast-iron-mama…
From the little I’ve see the paint on yours probably isn’t original (though I like it).
