Description

This lamp was given to me by my grandmother, she said it belonged to her mother. Is all crystal, ruby red, carved flowers on the ruby red part. It has been saved in special acid free tissue paper in storage. I have no idea from where or what year is from or even how much is worth.

Re: Ruby Red Carved Crystal Table Lamp

I’m not finding your exact lamp and most like yours are hurricane lamps which I don’t think yours ever was. I used etched cranberry ruby glass and crystal prism electric lamp for my google search. I’m in no way an expert but my guess is it’s from the 1930’s or 40’s and would be worth $150 - $200. Here’s two similar examples of the style https://www.etsy.com/listing/220292635/vintage-cranberry-crystal-ruby-m…

Hopefully someone else will have better info, @Lovejoy gives really good info.

Re: Ruby Red Carved Crystal Table Lamp

Lamps like this are of two types, those made converting existing Bohemian glass candlesticks to electricity dating from the last quarter of the 19th Century , and those purpose made as lamps since the 1920's or so. This one is of the second type, made as late as the early 1950's.
