Most "Geisha ware" was made from the 1920's onward for the export market from Japan, Lithophane Japanese Porcelain was made in very large numbers, a lot of it brought back by troops stationed in Japan and the Pacific. In the current market values even for whole sets tends to be modest, we see comparable sets sell at auction on a regular basis going for less than $80.00
