Description
1930-50's brass table top or disc that is made in Hong Kong. It belonged to a lady who was 90 years old in 1978. We are not sure when she acquired it. The estimated guess is that she may have acquired it during her travel in Hong Kong in 1930 - 1950 era. Need to know the value of it. One of the websites I searched has a similar one listed as $2600. If any one of you recognize something similar, please let me know what the range of prices on this one. Thank you.

These are generic items, often sold with folding wooden table bases. They were made all over the Middle East, India, the Philipines and China in very large numbers, at auction most of comparable size often sell for under $100.00.

Thank you. It is not generic item since I kept it for over 40 years. It did not come with the table base. However, thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it.

HI. Adding to Lovejoy's comment. The brass over copper table tops from Hong Kong are comon and not worth much. I have a couple with one bamboo stand. Only the solid brass ones from China are valuable.
