Accurate Description of Item
One Queen Anne Colonial Revival Style Dining Room Suite
Appraiser Remarks
Based on your images, your suite dates from the second quarter of the 20th century and is in the Colonial Revival style. Colonial Revival pieces are reproductions of the original American Colonial items originally produced from 1620-1780. The Colonial Revival style first became popular after the first Centennial of the American Revolution in 1876, but pieces like this were made right up until World War Two (1939). At that time interest and demand for original Colonial & Federal furnishings was so great it outstripped supply. Large manufacturers to begin production of pieces in the Colonial style from the Jacobean to early Georgian periods. This one is patterned off of the Queen Anne style.

The company that made this piece is as far as I'm aware still in business, operating under that company name since about 1877. In the current market demand for suites like this is modest, last peaking in the 1990's
Estimated Value
$1500.00-2000.00
