By linda55777, 17 February, 2018
Description

About a 3 x 5 porcelain tea pot with a Kimberly fine chins Mark and also has signature Mary Darwin. Can't seem to find any artist with that name. Was told the item is over 100 years old.

Re: Antique Small Tea Pot

Pieces like this are called "White ware" , meaning that it was originally sold undecorated and decorated outside of the factory. Most of these were painted by hobbyists taking art courses. Values for them tend to be modest depending on the quality of the decoration, but most like this tend to sell for under $75.00 at auction.
