Antique Tin Pail with State of Georgia and Confederate Flag

Profile picture for user Lovejoy
By Lovejoy, 12 February, 2018
Accurate Description of Item
One 1930's Enameled Tin Lunch/Picnic Pail
Appraiser Remarks
Based on the images your lunch pail is typical of examples made from the 1920's through to about World War Two (1939). Most are generic and carry no makers marks or labels to identify a maker. Some came decorated as new, others with decorations or decals added by the owner, this one appears to have the seal and flag added at a later date. Lunch pails like this were made in very large numbers, so they are not considered rare or all that valuable, most comparable to this one tend to sell for under $75.00.
Estimated Value
$45.00- $60.00
