Edwin M. Knowles Pitcher and Basin Set

Description

Set includes wash basin (16" across), pitcher (12" tall), chamber pot with cover.  All in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, etc.  White with pink rosebuds.  Stamp on the bottom is a vase with cross-hatch design and the words "Edwin M. Knowles Chine Co.", but no numbers.

Knowles is a well know china company, best known for collectors plates these days. Wash basin sets last peaked in the 1990's during the whole trend in Victorian style decorating, values for them now tend to be modest, with most sets selling for less than $100.00
