Hand blown black horse family figurines circa Japan 1945

Description

This family of black horses is hand blown glass made in Japan in 1945 during the occupation of Japan.  These belonged to my Aunt who was in the Marine Corp and was stationed there from 1945-1947.  She told me that she stood and watched an elderly Japanese man make these figurines and it took him serveral hours to make them.  The measure posted are from smallest to largest, foal 3" X 3", Mare 5"X 5 1/2", stallion 5 1/4"X 6".
