Hudson's Shopping cart

By Erin Marconi, 29 August, 2012
Description

Hudson's shopping cart found in basement of Detroit house built in 1950's.  In generally good condition, no rust, slightly crooked basket.  Assuming era is 50's or 60's but not sure.  Somewhat smaller than a modern shopping cart.  I have no idea what this is worth.

Re: Hudson's Shopping cart

A homeless guy might give you a few cigarettes and a trashbag full of cans for it.

Seriously though, I don't think there is much if any market for shopping carts. The design hasn't changed much over the years and they are still just as ugly as they always have been. No real practical use other than what they're made for and no one is going to want it as a display piece.

Ha ha, I'll have to talk to the homeless guys.  I guess it at least has some scrap metal value.
