Open Weave Lattice Basket with Flowers, ceramic or porcelain, Italy

By donna7238, 17 August, 2012
Description

I am not sure if this is Ceramic or porcelain. This yellow, pink flower basket I believe was bought in Italy back in the 1970's. It was given to me as a gift. It is about 4" tall, from flower across to other flower about 5 1/2", going down the center of the basket with inside flower facing you about 5 1/2". I do not see any type of manufacture or signature on it. Text or call 810-241-2239.

Re: Flower ceramic porcelain basket

These baskets were made in abundance in Italy mostly in the 1960's-1970's.  This is called an Open Weave Lattice Basket.  Since there is no stamp on the bottom, I could not tell you the maker, as many different factories in Italy produced these baskets.

The approximate value depending on condition is between $12.00 (fair condition) to $ 20.00 (excellent condition)

Hope this helps!!!
