Antique Noritake 6605 IVYNE 12 pc.dinnerware Set

Profile picture for user Janievette
By Janievette, 9 August, 2012
Description

My great great grandfather bought this set for my great great grandmother for an anniversary present in 1965. She was very proud of them and passed them down to 6 generations of us, unfortunately, I had a car accident and need to sell them. I hate that my granddaughters wont be able to enjoy them.

It is a 12 sitting service. It has 12 dinner plates, 12 salad plates, 12 soup bowls, 12 bread & butter plates, 12 fruit and dessert bowls, 1 gravy boat, 1 sugar bowl, 1 cream server, 1 turkey platter, 1 medium platter, 1 lg oval serving dish, 1 round lg. serving dish, unfortunately there are 8 cups and 10 cup saucers. That makes it a little shy of a full service, but it is in MINT CONDITION!

Re: Antique Noritake 6605 IVYNE 12 pc.dinnerware Set

These sell on a retail resale site for 43.00$ for a 5 piece setting. I doubt you will get that much, there seems to be quite a bit of this pattern around.  It was made from 1965-71. I have never seen any Noritake made in the USA. They do not have any facilities here. If you go to Ebay you can get an idea of a value too. good luck.:)
