DUCK ARM ROCKER

By eveanddavid, 7 June, 2009
Description

I have never seen anything like this rocking chair. Looked for signature but haven't found one... It looks hand carved...ducks heads on the arms where your hands rest. It is in pretty good shape needs to be restored of course but the picture will show it not restored. I found this rocking chair going through a old house on the back of my grandmothers yard where her servants lived. The reason I am saying I think it is the 1930's-19-50's is because I found bank drafts dating around that era of time ...any information anyone would have would be helpful..thank you
