rosenthal figurine

By christine rogers, 13 June, 2009
Description

Nude bending forward, standing on dark blue orb which is on a white base with a gold strip about a quarter of an inch all around it. Blue material draping over right hip and held with left hand. The body and hair look matt, whilst orb, base and material drape look to have a shine on them. She has her hair in a bun and it is light brown. I believe the figurine is referred to as 'Fortuna' she is very classical looking. Not sure if 1936 0r 1932 from mark under base but certainly there are the names Rosenthal and Ernst Wenck there.
