Singer Sewing Machine

By nannyjojo, 26 August, 2008
Description

The sewing machine is in good condition, I am just not sure if it is a 1950 or 1951.  We found it upstairs when we were cleaning the house and moving in!  Just trying to figure out how much it is worth?  I don't have a picture of it right now! Thank you

Re: Singer Sewing Machine

"Despite their often decorative finishes and colored transfers, sewing machines by makers such as Singer and Jones do not fetch high prices because so many were made. "  Ex. shown in book is portable (wood box) highly decorated with transfers, great condition, c. 1900, 14 in. long $50-80.*
