Round ceramic and silver tray

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Condition
Good
Description

This is a round ceramic tray with what appears to be a raised silver border and handles, although I cannot find any indication as to whether it's silver. There are three round legs on the bottom of the tray. The handles and silver border are both detailed. The ceramic is a creamy color with a detailed painting of three birds, a butterfly and flowers. On the bottom of the tray there are several markings. One is a date of "Dec. 1564," another is an engraved "A," and a printed "B28," along with another engraved "G4."

H&K Tunstall China Set

Category
China
Condition
Fair
Description

I have an H&K Tunstall china set that my mother found in an old house when I was young. It has stayed in the family  over 35 years and just recently was passed on to me. The name on the back is Montrose and it does have the green unicorn with H&K Tunstall written underneath. One of the dinner plates is chipped underneath and the gravy boat has a line that almost looks like a crack under the glaze. This is not a complete set. I have:

6 dinner plates; 6 salad plates; 3 dessert plates; 5 saucers; 6 tea cups; 6 soup bowls; 5 dessert bowls; 1 platter; 1 vegtable bowl; 1 gravy boat and dish.

My wish is to find out more about these items as I have not been able to found any information on the pattern and very little about H&K Tunstall.

Thank you for viewing my post.

Trumeau Mirror with Oil Painting

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Good
Description

I inherited this old mirror, and don't know much about it. I have seen some similar mirrors online, and now believe that it may be a French Trumeau mirror. I haven't seen any quite like it though, and I'm wondering what it really is and what it may be valued at. It is in good condition for it's age. The wood frame has been chipped in 2 places, one on each side. The oil painting itself is in great condition. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Minton China H2742 Plates circa 1913

Category
China
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have had this partial set of Minton China for a few years and I have not been able to find much information on it and I have not seen any other pieces come up for auction online, so I have no idea of what these pieces might be worth. I have been able to find a scant amount of information on replacements.com showing this pattern and that is was produced in 1913 and that the was also a variation with a cobalt blue rim.

I have 6 dinner plates (2 have hairline cracks), 10 salad plates, and 10 small dessert plates, with the exception of the 2 dinner plates there is no damage to the pieces. most of the pieces do show some crazing to the glaze. I bought these at a moving and storage auction in Renton, WA for $90.00 for the group. It was the kind of auction where the vaults were opened and all of the items were cataloged and sold individually. I have attached a picture of the front and back of one of the smaller plates.

What I know about them is that they are Minton, from 1913, they are pattern #H2742 (I belive that the "2" beneath the pattern number indicates the white rim as opposed to the cobalt rim), they were sold by Wright Tyndale & Van Roden of Philadelphia, other than that I have not been able to find anything else.

I am very interested in knowing the value of these pieces and if they are a rarity, they seem to be since I can't find any other pieces.
