Appraiser Remarks
Elizabeth J. Horning was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1943. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1965. As a student, Elizabeth was on the Dean's List and European Honors Program, and received a Royal Bailey Farnum scholarship and Ford and Carnegie Foundation grants.

She began her art career as a teacher, implementing an art program in three elementary schools in Franklin, New Hampshire. She left teaching to move to Arizona in 1973 where she has since lived and worked as an artist.

Of the 29 most recent sales of her work sold at Fine Arts Auctions we have on file none have sold for over $450.00, which would indicate a downward trend in Values for her work currently. We would suggest a replacement value in the $700.00- $1000.00 range.
Estimated Value
$750.00- $1000.00
