Large clay urn

Profile picture for user Lovejoy
By Lovejoy, 20 March, 2018
Accurate Description of Item
One 1930's Art Deco Urn, Maker Unknown
Appraiser Remarks
Based on you images your Urn is in the Art Deco style and dates to the 1930's. The style was very poplar from the 1920's right through to World War Two (1939) and virtually every pottery and porcelain manufacturer produced pieces in this style. Pieces made by the big name and most collectible companies such as Rookwood, Hull and Roseville were all well marked, those by lesser known companies had minimal markings, sometimes only with model or mold numbers, using paper or foil tags that have been long since removed or have simply fallen off over time. Values for the well marked examples by the companies mentioned above have the highest values, those by unknown makers such as your piece sell for far less.
Estimated Value
$75.00- $100.00
