Antique Victorian Desk Hutch
Grandfather is sure this piece is over 100 years old but it seems newer to me. Does anyone have an opinion on the age or value?
It actually dates after 1870…
It actually dates after 1870, it's in the Eastlake style which appeared in North America about that time. the style was very popular until the 1890's. Currently comparable examples now sell at auction in the 150.00- $350.00 range.
