This is not really a matched suite. The chairs date from the 1870's, the table a little later. From what I can see the table is either cherry or maple. Sets like this peaked in value in the early 1990's, but demand and values for them have declined a great deal since then, at auction a comparable set would sell for under $350.00 these days. we'd retail a comparable set in the $500.00- $650.00 range.
