Based on your images this piece is in my opinion Chinese and not Japanese, it's unlikely it predates 1920. Few of these have any markings and in since the 1980's have been extensively reproduced for the Decorator market, most of these only had paper of foil labels, soon removed after sale. Values for them vary by size and level of decoration. We'd retail a comparable one to yours for about $200.00.
