Paragon Double Warrant Navy and Gold cup and saucer set A524/8 identity and value?

Description

This cup and saucer was given to me by friends.  The watermark lists a number of A524/8 and the company is Paragon.  I looked at some watermarks for Paragon, and this particular watermark seems that it might have been made in 1939-49, but I am not positive.  The cup and saucer are a rich dark blue, with gold accents and a little bit of white.  It appears to be in very good shape--I see no chips, scratches, crazing or stains.  The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter, and is rimmed.  The cup is 3 7/8 inches across the top and is footed.  There is gold edging around the lip of the cup, as well as around the edge of the saucer.  The mark says, "Paragon By Appointment to HM The Queen and HM Queen Mary, Fine Bone China, England Rego."  There looks like there might be a handwritten letter capital "B" at the top outside the watermark area, a number 4 written to the left side of the watermark, and then the number A524/8 underneath the watermark.  The outside of the china is white with a gold ring around the center of the cup and foot, and the bottom of the saucer is white.  The inside of the cup as well as the inside of the saucer are a deep dark blue, navy, with gold pattern and a creamy ivory color in the center with more gold pattern.  Any help I can get with identifying the pattern and what it is worth is greatly appreciated.  I have several more cup and saucer sets that I will try to post for assistance.  Thank you for your help!

This cup and saucer was made by Paragon in England under Royal Warrant and was designed to represent the person named on the warrant and approved by them. Your teacup and saucer was made between 1937 – 1952. This mark is for Queen Elisabeth, known to her death as Queen Mum and wife of King George VI and her Mother in law was Queen Mary.  In the 1930’s the company Paragon got in a bit of trouble as they had begun using the name Royal on some pieces without receiving a warrant.

This company operated from Stoke on Trent from 1919 - 1960.  

I would estimate the date of this piece is late 1938 - 1945. based on the Royal Warrant. 

Origins: Stoke on Trent - England.

Est Value: $120 - $200 US based on demand. It is possible this cup could sell for more but it will only fetch what someone is willing to pay for it. This valuation is based on its historical significance and period (WWII). Its important to realize that cups and saucers use to sell 10 -15 yrs ago at auctions for $100, but today I recently passed up around 60 sets for less then $10 on the whole lot. I would recommend you place this under your house contents insurance for $250 - $300 US replacement value.
