Paintings like this were painted in huge numbers after World War Two, most purchased by Troops stationed in Europe during the 50's through 70's.Most of the artists of painting like this are undocumented, their signatures listed as "Unknown". The term "Unknown" used to indicate that the artist has not developed enough of a following to generate much interest or research. The majority of paintings of this type and subject matter tend to sell at Art Auctions, where they tend to sell for under $300.00.
