Pair of French Marble-Topped Tables, circa 1920's

By banjoblivion, 30 July, 2018
Description

I have a pair of French marble-topped tables, circa 1920's, or so I was told when I inherited them about 17 years ago. I would like to know an estimate of the value of them. They are constructed of solid walnut for the frames, legs, and fronts of cabinets/drawers, and veneer on the sides and backs. They appear to be hand-carved. The marble tops measure 16 inches (41 cm) square, and they are about 33 inches (84 cm) tall. Any information you could give me on them, especially their fair market value, would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: Pair of French Marble-Topped Tables, circa 1920's

These are nicer than most of these French Provincial style pieces, We'd retail the pair of them in the  $400.00- $500.00 range.
