Yankees Bobbleheads/Nodders

By musclebeech, 25 March, 2017
Description

Hello... I have two Yankees bobbleheads (nodders) that appear to be of some increased age.  Here is a description to go along with the photos that I have attached:

1) Roger Maris Bobblehead - Appears to be similar to the Maris nodders from the early 1960's; this piece is relatively light weight (~8 oz) and feels like it is made out of something that I can only describe as "light ceramic". Has some light damage on the jaw line (see photo).

2) Yankees Player Bobblehead - Unsure of the age; weighs ~10 oz. Appears to be hand painted (see the apparent brush strokes on the green base) with some decals where the logos are both on the player's uniform/hat and the base.

What I need to know is if someone can help me determine if these are, in fact, originals vs possible reproductions (and how to tell) and an estimated value if they are originals.

Thanks!
