Re: Antique 1915 Davis Vertical Feed “NVF” sewing machine in...

The demand for old sewing machines is very weak, mainly because they were a utility item produced in enormous numbers, the singer company alone produced over 50,000,000 of them by the late 19th century. Very few sell for over $150.00 these days.

Thank you for your response - would this include the cabinet and all of the attachments? it still is very functional also.

Re: Antique 1915 Davis Vertical Feed “NVF” sewing machine in...

yes they are mostly paying ffor the furnature part  the sewing machine part of it has little value .  i coldnt seel these in the 80s and 90s at all everone had one in  a barn attic or garage. use to pick them up off the side of the road and toss the machine part. sell them foir like 25-50$  . today they usually bring 75-100$  at the most. not many people sew now the ones that do like the smaller sewing machines.
