Baby carriage

By Kdukhin, 14 July, 2017
Description

I am looking for any info on this baby carriage. We bought it at a rummage sale and know nothing about it. The woman who sold it to us said it was vintage. We fell in love with it but now don't really know what to do with it. I'm trying to find out how old it is, who it was made by and if it is worth anything.

Re: Baby carriage

Are there any markings of any manufacturer or any kind of symbols or markings at all? The carriage almost looks custom made. If you do find any mark or image mark then please take a photo of it and upload here.

Re: Baby carriage

My husband and I looked everywhere and couldn't mind a single marking of any kind.

Re: Baby carriage

Most like this one date from the mid 1920's to early 30's, the material the main body is made of is machine woven. Most will have a tag on them somewhere to indicate a maker, usually a metal one. Values for one in "As Is" condition is pretty much what you paid for it., under $150.00. Today demand for them comes mainly from Collectors of Dolls.
