Accurate Description of Item
One late 19th Century Persian/Middle Eastern Coffee Pot
Appraiser Remarks
Coffee pots of this type and style, with some minor variations are produced all over the Middle East and what used to be known as " Persia". They have been produced in very large numbers and still are made using the same handcraft skills as they were over 100 years ago.
There is very little documentation regarding the marking used by the craftsmen who made them, values for them depend more on their provenance, vintage and current condition. Currently at Auction comparable examples generally sell for under $50.00.
