Re: binoculars

History:

I can't really reas the model number on the binoculars, but they appear to be US Navy Bausch & Lomb binculars. These would have been used in 1940s or 1960s. Bausch and Lomb is one of the major American binocular and eye care producers, supplying even for the US Army and Navy during World War II and World War I.  They continue to produce eye care products and began 1853.

Value:

Your binoculars look to be in decent condition and from the early 1960s or late 1950s. Most collectors are looking for the case and leather strap with the binoculars so without that, the value decreases. I'd appraise your item at $100. It woud be $150-$170 with the leather strap and case.

Market:

The market is strong for Bausch and Lomb but without the case and leather strap, your item may sit for quite awhile until you find the right buyer. The recent selling prices are $60.21 which is below the valued price so I would reccomend you to hold onto the item and take good care of it until the market rises if you plan on banking on the item.

If I was any help, I'd appreciate and accepted comment! Thanks!
