I have submitted this painting but had no response. Can anyone help me??? I have had this for years but cannot locate any information as to age, artist, value. Please help!!!
Huge numbers of artists never achieve any fame or their works recorded, some are just amateurs who dabble and never sell a canvas, so the odds of finding information on many of them is very slim. Even so, to appraise paintings they really need a physical appraisal and the services of a professional Fine Arts Appraiser.
It is an unknown "artist". As the last person stated, 99.9% of people who painted are ever known. I see no particularly outstanding element that gives it any value. I like to say that there are probably more paintings of birds than actual birds in the wild. It has decorative value only.
