Hespeler Furniture Dining Set

Description

This dining set was passed down from my Grandparents who were Mennonite farmers in Kitchener Waterloo, On to my parents and then to me. It is in good condition and has been refinished. It includes 6 chairs and a leaf insert.

Sets like this tend to date from the 1920's through 30's and tend to be a mix of early English Furniture styles such as Elizabethan, Jacobean and William & Mary.  Hespler was founded in 1901 and operated to about 1964 if I recall correctly.
