Aquarium clock

Description

This is a clock by united clock corp in New York. It is an aquarium clock model number 454. I want to know the approx age of the clock and value. Thanks!  The white things in the picture are the little balls from the box to protect it.

C.1940, United Clock Corp., Brooklyn, NY, MODEL 454, Aquarium Clock, 110v, electric timepiece, light and animation. Condition: excellent original condition, all working. The wooden case with original mahogany finish, and cast metal adornments with original brass plating. When plugged in, the fish in the lower aquarium appear to swim by, back-lit by small light bulb. This clock measures 10 1/2 inches tall, 9 1/4 inches long and 6 1/2 inches wide.

I can't say I've ever run into one like this before, but as a novelty clock (if it's in good working norder) it has to be worth $150.00 to somebody.
