 Free Sewing Machine Company, Rockford Ill

Desk/cabinet model
Guarantee Bond #A1356
no. 5. G. O, painted on cabinet
original boxed; rotary attachments, Greist rotary buttonholer

There are no dates anywhere on the machine itself nor any of the original paperwork. It is in great condition; missing a plate right under the needle, missing one drawer and one drawer is damaged. The wood is in excellent condition.

These Free Duo-Rotary machines were marketed by Westinghouse and postdate the 1920's as far as I know. There is not much of a demand for these treadle machines, the common misconception is that they are rare, but truth be told they often fail to get bids at auction or don't sell for much more the $150.00 in many cases.
