GENDRON WHEEL COMPANY WICKER BABY CARRIAGE

By WANTVWBUG, 7 August, 2009
Description

wicker baby carriage/pram made by the famous Gendron Wheel Co, Toledo, O. The piece was made between 1920-1923. It is in outstanding condition with only 3 very small breaks in the wicker (biggest is shown in one of the pics). It is all original except the inside upholstery may have been re-done, but very professionally. There is some wear on the rear wheels but otherwise, it is in mint condition. It has not been painted or altered in any way, other than possibly the inside upholstery. It has a movable sunshade and working brakes and the original handle. The original tag on the front reads: "Made by Gendron Wheel Co., Toledo, O.
