Windsor Style Rocker

By BJBrown, 22 May, 2009
Description

The chair is in good condition, no cracks or broken parts. The only issue is with the seat, the veneer has gotten damp and has started to peel. From what I've learned water solluble glues for veneers weren't used until after WW II. This would date the chair prior to the 1940's. My grandmother was born in 1906 if this was bought as a wedding gift that would put it in the 1920's.

Re: Windsor Style Rocker

FYI: Your chair isn't from the Windsor family of
chairs - and it is probably worth about 50 - 75 dollars.
