4 back slat chair

By MelanieP, 6 November, 2008
Description

I received this many years ago as a gift from an antique dealer friend. He at the time told me it was very old. It is missing one of the front stetcher slats. It has the original webbing on the seat and has a wonderful patina overall.

I'll have to ponder this a while.

Re: 4 back slat chair

It's a Colonial Revival reproduction, there are no scribe marks for the tenons and no appreciable wear on the chair to indicate otherwise.
