These are a matching pair of Nichols  Stone (The House of Windsor) rocking chairs...one child's and one for Mom....both black laquer with a gold harvest imprint on the headrest...both with paper certificates on the bottom indicating Gardner, MA

Re: Nichols & Stone Windsor Rocking chairs

Your chairs are 20th Century reproductions of a 19th Century Windsors. They've never really been out of production since the 1760's. Values for the repro's vary depending on how close they follow the originals and their current condition. Nichols and Stone began operating under that name 1907, and began making windsors in the 1930's. The company is still in business, value for your chairs at auction $200.00.
