While it is unlikely this

While it is unlikely this piece is an original, you should know that nobody can appraise original works of art via the online format. You really should contact an expect who will physically examine this piece and authenticate it's date and origins. I suggest you cantact Sothebys.com.

Thanks Lovejoy, I really

Thanks Lovejoy, I really appreciate your answer. We've just had it at an antique dealer who said it is an original and priced it at $500.00 Canadian. Someone else who claims to know antiques said if it really was an original it would be worth much more. My elderly parents are confused and don't know what to believe. Assuming it is real I was just hoping to find out what it might be worth.

Just want to let you know

Just want to let you know that painting fake or not is really beautiful! It looks to pretty to be fake. But you know I  am not an appraiser! LOL. But I had an antique dealer tel me the same thing about a piece and later I sold it for 6 times the amount he offered. And He later offerd me 3 times what the original offer was. I am sorry your parents are confused as I am too in my search to know the value of my painting. :( Good luck to you and  I too appreciate Lovejoy for his absolutely awesome service. And WOW how quick he/she is!

OK Thanks for letting me see this beautiful italia piece from this little italia...;)
